The worldwide pandemic of Covid-19 has affected us all. From the guy at the newsstand to the President of the United States and other world leaders no one is safe from the deadliest virus since 1918, so being Covid-safe is a top priority.
Many businesses have had to close and many more are on the verge of collapse, but if you’re lucky enough to be able to stay in business there are some things you can do to make your workplace Covid-19-safe:

Social distancing is a tried and tested method of reducing the transmission rate while limiting the number of people you come into contact with will further help. Cutting hours isn’t pleasant but it might be necessary while cleaning everything with the necessary products and enforcing rules around Covid-19 protects everyone as best as possible.

If you can’t limit your staff then cutting hours might be a better idea. That way you are further limiting contact with other individuals who could be infected and not even know it. Staff members, and indeed customers who flout any Covid safety policies should be reprimanded instantly and as an employer you should try your best to lead by example. Any policies that are in place such as social distancing and mask-wearing should be strictly enforced for everyone. If a staff member violates these rules then discipline them, if a customer does it then eject them from the premises.
Everyone’s health and safety is at risk so selfishness such as this shouldn’t be tolerated.
