Now and again it is important for us to take on some self-care and really pay attention to ourselves. If you have been in the house for a long while during the pandemic and looking to finally rejoin the world, a makeover is something that could make you feel amazing and confident.
Today we are going to take a look at some of the things you can do this week to makeover your look and bring some confidence back into your life for the summer.
Try a detox
One of the first ways to help you be healthier this week is to detox yourself and eat healthier foods. You can try a week eating lean meat with vegetables and leafy greens for dinner and it will make a big difference to your body in terms of bloating and fatigue. Detoxing your body with a healthy diet overhaul is a great idea and it will do wonders for you and the way you feel about yourself.
Whiten your teeth
One way to make yourself feel amazing is to whiten your teeth with a dentist like Mona Vale Dental. Teeth whitening doesn’t cost too much and it can easily lift your confidence and self-esteem if you are feeling a little low. Once you have a set of pearly whites you won’t stop smiling and you’ll be ready to hit the town.
Apply smokey eye makeup
One way to makeover yourself this week is with some fun makeup application. Makeup is a tool to enhance your natural beauty and a smokey eye can really bring attention to your eyes and make you look and feel sultry and sexy. Start with a light neutral as a base over your eyes and then start building darker colours on your lids and your outer v. Make sure to really take your time blending as this is what gives that smokey effect.
Trim your hair
If you are looking for a simple solution to frizzy and dry hair this week; consider trimming the end to get rid of split ends. You can pick up a pair of hair scissors online for a cheap price and now and again trimming those ends will bring life back to your hair. When cutting your hair make sure to centre part and straighten it first, and then split it into two. Pull the pieces in front of you and twist them slightly to keep them together. Work your hands close to the end, maybe half an inch away from your ends, and cut. You can always trim more if you like but start small and work your way up. The way your hair will look and feel after a trim is amazing and you’ll feel so much better.
Have a manicure
Try doing your own manicure at home using some stick on nails and your favourite nail polish. While the salons are booked up and your nails are looking sad; doing this can really lift your spirits and make you feel done up.
